Background
The Pittsford Area Schools is seeking bids for a project that includes cooling system additions and electrical service upgrades. The goal of the contract is to enhance the HVAC systems within the school facilities, ensuring improved climate control and electrical distribution for new cooling equipment.

The project will be managed by Ameresco, an engineering firm based in Worthington, Ohio.

Work Details
The project consists of several key components:

1. Classroom Unit Ventilator Replacements: Removal and replacement of 32 Classroom Unit Ventilators (CUVs) and associated equipment as per the bid documents prepared by Ameresco. All equipment must be furnished and installed by the contractor.

2. Addition of Heat-Pump Style Mini-Splits: Installation of 8 heat-pump style mini-split units, with all equipment to be furnished and installed by the contractor.

3. Electrical Service Upgrades: Installation of a new 225 kVA transformer, disconnects, two electrical panels, a new 15 kVA transformer, and power distribution throughout the building to support the new cooling equipment.

Period of Performance
Electrical work is expected to commence as soon as practical depending on supply and delivery of equipment, with a target start date in spring 2025. HVAC work is planned for summer 2025.

The contract work will be performed at Pittsford Area Schools located at 9304 Hamilton Street, Pittsford, Michigan 49271.
