Home Energy Rebate Program

Background
The Michigan Department of Technology Management and Budget issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the implementation and administration of the Michigan Home Energy Program. The goal of this contract is to enhance energy efficiency and provide rebates to residents, thereby supporting the state's energy conservation efforts.

The contract is set for a term of four years, with the possibility of three one-year renewal options.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following services:
1. Program Start-up, including initial setup and operational readiness;
2. Program Administration, overseeing daily operations;
3. Contractor Management, Recruitment, and Training;
4. Technology and Data Management, including support;
5. Marketing and Outreach to promote the program;
6. Consumer Protection and Feedback mechanisms;
7. Quality Assurance Plan and Program Evaluation to ensure effectiveness.

The total award amount is $28,396,700.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of four years with options for three additional one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Michigan.
