Event Management Software Request for Proposal

Background
The University of Michigan seeks proposals from qualified suppliers for an event management software solution that encompasses all data and activities related to its Conference & Event Services department. The goal is to improve the Business Operations Management of events and meeting spaces, catering to the needs of internal event managers, service providers, students, and clients.

The university aims to enhance its event planning capabilities while supporting its mission to serve the people of Michigan and the world through excellence in knowledge creation and application.

Work Details
The selected supplier will provide a comprehensive event management software solution that includes functionalities for:
- Business Operations Management of events and meeting spaces
- Coordination of all summer residential camps and conferences
- Space reservations and full conference management oversight.

The software must meet specific functionality requirements outlined in Attachment A of the RFP. Additionally, pricing details are required as per Attachment B.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a three-year period with an option to extend for an additional one-year period, subject to mutual agreement between the University and the supplier.

Place of Performance
The primary scope of this RFP includes services provided on the University of Michigan campus located in Ann Arbor.

Bidder Requirements
Suppliers must comply with the university's Supplier Diversity Program and may need to demonstrate their status as a small business or other designations. Preference will be given to goods or services manufactured or provided by Michigan businesses if competitively priced.

Suppliers are encouraged to register their diversity status on sam.gov.
