Community Pool - Site, Earthwork & Utilities

Background
The West Ottawa Public Schools is issuing a contract for the Community Pool Utility Relocation project. The project is managed by Triangle Associates, Inc. under a Construction Manager agreement, where Triangle acts as the Owner's agent. The goal of the contract is to relocate utilities in preparation for the construction of a new community pool.

Work Details
The work includes site preparation, earthwork, and utility relocation as specified in Work Category WC 310. Key tasks include:

1. Mobilization of equipment and personnel.
2. Fencing and job site setup.
3. Mis-Dig and Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control (SESC).
4. Owner utility relocation including gas, irrigation, communication, and electrical utilities.
5. Dewatering plan implementation.
6. Site demolition.
7. Storm structures and piping installation.
8. Watermain installation.
9. Flushing and testing of relocated utilities.
10. Restoration and cleanup of the site post-construction.

Period of Performance
The contract is scheduled to commence with mobilization on October 7, 2024, and is expected to be completed by December 13, 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at a greenfield site located due north of the existing south high school campus building at 3600 152nd Ave, Holland, MI 49424.
