Background
The State of Michigan, through the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB), is seeking professional architectural and/or engineering services for the McLain State Park Campground Improvements project. The goal of this contract is to secure comprehensive professional services that will include study, design, and construction administration to enhance the facilities at the campground.

Work Details
The Professional shall provide all necessary professional services, technical staff, and support personnel to achieve the project as described in the Project/Program Statement. Services include:

1. Attendance at all project-related meetings and conferences.
2. Conducting a complete architectural and/or engineering study consistent with the Project/Program Statement, including itemized construction cost estimates.
3. Coordination with the Project Team to define areas of investigation and establish responsibilities.
4. Researching existing data and analyzing concepts of the Project/Program Statement.
5. Preparing draft recommendations or results of studies and research.
6. Developing schematic design deliverables that depict relationships of project functions and establish design basis for building elements.
7. Preparing preliminary design documents that define size, function, arrangements, spaces, location, and operations of equipment.
8. Finalizing design documents that comply with all applicable regulations and are suitable for bidding.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period defined by specific phases including Study Phase, Program Phase, Schematic Design Phase, Preliminary Design Phase, and Final Design Phase as outlined in the contract documentation.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at McLain State Park located in Michigan.

Bidder Requirements
The Professional must adhere to all requirements set forth by the State of Michigan including compliance with public acts related to soil erosion control and other environmental regulations. The Professional must also ensure that no key personnel substitutions occur without prior written consent from the Project Director.
