Background
The contract is issued by the State of Michigan's Department of Technology, Management and Budget for the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to replace existing boilers and rooftop units at the Grand Ledge Armory & AASF as detailed in the project specifications.
Specific tasks include:
- Demolition of existing mechanical room boiler equipment and installation of a new boiler system.
- Installation of new mechanical room & weapons cleaning exhaust fans.
- Replacement of existing rooftop units RTU-1 & RTU-3 with new Trane models.
- Connection of hydronic piping to new hot water heating coils for RTU-1 & RTU-3.
- Installation of new LON-based controls for mechanical equipment connected to the existing building management system.
- Installation of electrical circuits to new boilers in AASF and emergency shutoff systems in both mechanical rooms.
- Compliance with Davis-Bacon Act for wage rates, with a $20,000 contingency allowance included in the bid.

Period of Performance
The project completion date is set for 300 calendar days following the preconstruction meeting, which will take place after bid acceptance.
The DTMB typically takes 45 days to award contracts post-bid receipt.

The work will be performed at the Grand Ledge Armory located at 10602 W. Eaton Hwy., Grand Ledge, MI 48837.
