2024 Summer Projects

Background
The Johannesburg-Lewiston Area Schools is seeking bids for the 2024 Summer Projects. Specifically, Bid Package No. 2 is for Johannesburg Building Wood Shop Remodeling, Bid Package No. 1 is for Johannesburg Building Water Well Upgrade, and Bid Package No. 3 is for Johannesburg Building Outdoor Classroom. The projects involve construction and remodeling work at the Johannesburg Building located at 10854 M-32 East, Johannesburg, MI 49751.

Work Details
Bid Package No. 2 involves the remodeling of the existing Johannesburg Building Wood Shop as described in the Bidding Documents.
Bid Package No. 1 comprises construction of a new well and well house including new pressure system equipment and controls for both the new well and the existing well to remain.
Bid Package No. 3 entails construction of a new outdoor classroom (pavilion) complete.

Period of Performance
Bids must be received prior to 1:00 PM local time on May 23, 2024, and will be opened publicly and read aloud at 1:00 PM local time on May 23, 2024 in the Superintendent’s Office, Johannesburg, MI.
The Pre-Bid Meeting will be conducted at 1:00 PM local time on May 15, 2024.

The projects will be performed at the Johannesburg Building located at 10854 M-32 East, Johannesburg, MI 49751.
