Background
The Kent Intermediate School District is seeking proposals for Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/MDR) Software as part of a regional initiative to enhance cybersecurity across multiple local school districts. The goal is to select qualified vendors through a comprehensive review process to provide necessary security services.

Work Details
The EDR/MDR solution must include the following services:

1. **24/7 Monitoring:** Continuous monitoring of endpoints to detect potential threats.

2. **Threat Detection:** Use of advanced analytics, threat intelligence, and machine learning to identify suspicious activities and potential breaches.

3. **Incident Response:** A dedicated team of security experts for incident investigation; remediation will be conducted locally.

4. **Threat Intelligence:** Access to current threat intelligence to stay ahead of emerging threats.

5. **Vulnerability Management:** Regular scanning and assessment of systems to identify and address vulnerabilities.

6. **Reporting and Analysis:** Detailed reports on security incidents to improve the security posture.

The project is expected to cover between 9,250 and 13,650 Windows endpoints (non-servers) across 10 to 19 local school districts.

Period of Performance
The contract period will be from December 1, 2024, to November 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the Kent Intermediate School District in Michigan.
