Background
The University of Maine System (UMS), established in 1968, is a collective of six public universities in Maine, serving over 30,000 students annually. The UMS aims to provide quality higher education through its mission of teaching, research, and public service. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks reputable Executive Search Firms to provide consultation and professional services for executive searches for critical leadership positions within the University, including Presidents and Vice-Presidents.

Work Details
The selected Contractor will provide professional consultation and support in Executive Searches as specified in the RFQ. The scope includes:
- Developing a list of qualified candidates for executive positions.
- Conducting outreach and recruitment efforts.
- Assisting in the evaluation and selection process of candidates.
- Providing guidance on best practices for hiring processes.
- Ensuring compliance with diversity and inclusion standards throughout the search process.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on August 1, 2025, and will terminate on June 30, 2030, with an option for one five-year renewal upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed across various campuses within the University of Maine System.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must demonstrate their qualifications and experience in executive search services. They must comply with non-discrimination policies and are encouraged to include diverse business certifications such as MBE, WBE, SDVOSB, etc. Additionally, respondents must complete a Debarment Certification form to confirm they are not debarred from bidding on government contracts.
