Background
The University of Maryland, College Park is seeking bids for the construction of a Softball Player Development Facility. The project is being managed by J. Vinton Schafer Construction, LLC and involves the construction of a 5,180 square foot masonry building. Other associated work includes carpentry, thermal & moisture protection, openings (doors, hardware, windows, aluminum doors, Kalwall, sectional doors), finishes, and gymnasium equipment. The construction is expected to commence in July/August of 2024.

Work Details
The project consists of the Construction of a 5,180 sf Masonry building and other work indicated in the Contract Documents including but not limited to carpentry, thermal & moisture protection, openings (doors, hardware, windows, aluminum doors, Kalwall, sectional doors), finishes, gymnasium equipment.

Period of Performance
Construction is anticipated to start in July/August of 2024.
