Rfp - Executive Search Services For The Chief Executive Officer Of The Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center (CTPHC)

Background
The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure executive search services for the Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center (CTPHC), which is the State's only maximum-security forensic hospital. The CTPHC currently has critical vacancies in its executive-level leadership, including the Chief Executive Officer position. The goal of this contract is to ensure that qualified candidates are sourced and selected for these critical roles, given the specialized nature of the hospital's patient population and operational requirements.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:

1. Participating in an intake meeting with MDH to understand role requirements.
2. Sourcing, recruiting, screening, and interviewing candidates for the Chief Executive Officer position.
3. Conducting preliminary screenings of resumes and online presences of candidates.
4. Conducting in-depth behavioral interviews via electronic video conference to confirm candidates meet experience and educational requirements.
5. Performing background checks and verifying employment histories and licensure for all applicants.
6. Submitting summaries of well-qualified candidates to MDH and coordinating interview schedules with MDH staff.
7. Preparing interview questions with a response rating tool for MDH review.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and continue through June 30, 2025, with no option periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily at Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center located in Jessup, Maryland.
