RFI: Learning Management System for Supports Planner Training

Background
The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) is dedicated to promoting and improving the health and safety of all Marylanders through disease prevention, access to care, quality management, and community engagement.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather information on currently-marketed products and services for the implementation and maintenance of a Learning Management System (LMS) aimed at enhancing learning and workforce development for MDH's Medicaid-enrolled providers and agents.

The Office of Long Term Services and Supports (OLTSS), under MDH, focuses on delivering care to individuals requiring long-term services, emphasizing a person-centered approach to improve health outcomes and quality of life. Currently, MDH lacks an LMS for support planner training, which has led to challenges in providing effective training solutions.

Work Details
The RFI seeks information on LMS capabilities that can facilitate on-demand learning collaboratives, competency assessments through interactive retention tools, and enhance training for Medicaid-enrolled providers and OLTSS agents.

Period of Performance
The RFI was issued on January 21, 2025, with responses due by February 20, 2025. The anticipated timeline for implementation is set for 2025 but is not urgent as there is currently no existing LMS.
