Background
The Town of Bladensburg, located along the Anacostia River in Prince George’s County, Maryland, is seeking a qualified individual or firm to perform janitorial services for specific locations. The town has a rich history dating back to the 1720s and aims to ensure cleanliness and maintenance in its facilities while promoting sustainability through the use of eco-friendly products.

Work Details
The contractor will provide janitorial services at various locations including:
- Town Hall (4229 Edmonston Road)
- Police Department (4910 Tilden Road)
- Police Annex (4217 Edmonston Road)

Services will be provided daily, five days a week. Additional services include bi-weekly cleaning at Police Community Services and on-demand services at Bostwick House. Daily tasks include:
- Cleaning entrance door glass
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Vacuuming carpets
- Sanitizing restrooms
- Maintaining kitchen areas

The contractor must supply all necessary labor, materials, and equipment. They may also need to provide paper goods and restroom supplies as part of the service or included in the overall cost. Proposals should detail the use of green cleaning products certified as environmentally friendly.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award for an initial term of two years, with options for two one-year extensions based on mutual agreement and performance evaluation.
