Preliminary Design Services - Ocean City Phase 2 Indoor Outdoor Sports Complex

Background
The Town of Ocean City has engaged the Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) to support the development of an Indoor Outdoor Sports Complex. This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks a highly qualified Architect/Engineer (A/E) firm to provide Preliminary Design Services as outlined in the solicitation. The project aims to enhance community recreational facilities and is anticipated to be constructed under a guaranteed maximum price via the Construction Manager at Risk method.

Work Details
The selected A/E firm will provide Preliminary Design Services which include:

1. Conducting site analysis and feasibility studies for the proposed Indoor Outdoor Sports Complex.
2. Developing preliminary design concepts that meet the project requirements and community needs.
3. Preparing detailed design documents and specifications in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
4. Collaborating with MSA, Ocean City, and other stakeholders throughout the design process.
5. Providing cost estimates and value engineering options to ensure budget adherence.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period necessary to complete the scope of work as agreed upon by MSA and the successful Offeror, with specific timelines to be determined during the project phases.

Place of Performance
The contract work will take place in Ocean City, Maryland, with potential site visits at identified locations within 10 miles of Ocean City.
