Portable Toilets

Background
St. Mary’s County Government is soliciting competitive bids to establish a fixed price requirements contract for the supply and service of portable toilets. This contract aims to support various county departments, including the Department of Recreation and Parks and the Department of Public Works & Transportation, by providing portable toilet services for recreation areas, public landings, special events, and convenience centers.

Work Details
The contractor will provide rental, cleaning, and maintenance services for portable toilets. The estimated quantities include:
- 47 Standard Portable Toilets
- 32 Wheelchair Accessible (WCA) Portable Toilets
- 20 Fully Compliant ADA Portable Toilets

Additional services include:
- Extra weekday cleaning/pumping (10)
- Extra weekend cleaning/pumping (148)
- Extra holiday cleaning/pumping (20)
- Emergency cleaning/pumping with a 4-hour response requirement.

The contractor must maintain ownership of the equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. The units must be cleaned a minimum of twice weekly, stocked with supplies, and serviced as per the agreed schedule.

Period of Performance
The base year of this contract will commence on March 1, 2025, with options for renewal for four additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed throughout St. Mary’s County, Maryland.
