On Call Roofing Systems Maintenance and Repair for the Hanover Complex

Background
The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) is issuing this contract for On Call Roofing Systems Maintenance and Repair for the Hanover Complex, located at 7491 Connelley Drive, Hanover, Maryland.

The SHA's mission includes maintaining the infrastructure of the state, and this contract aims to ensure the integrity and functionality of the roofing systems at the complex through regular inspections and necessary repairs.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for roofing inspection and maintenance services which include:
1) Conducting semi-annual routine inspections of four Built-Up Roofs (BUR) and seven metal roofs;
2) Performing service calls for repairs on an hourly basis;
3) Providing roofing materials/supplies as needed.

The contractor must have a minimum of five years of roof repair experience, hold all necessary licenses including General Liability and General Contracting licenses, and be authorized to modify or maintain warrantied roof systems from manufacturers like Firestone, GAF, Johns Manville, Owens Corning, among others.

The work includes detailed inspections of roof components such as field membranes, flashings, drainage systems, sheet metal work, and equipment supports. A written report detailing the condition of roofs must be provided after each inspection.

Period of Performance
The duration of the contract is thirty-six (36) months.

The contract will be performed at the Hanover Complex located at 7491 Connelley Drive, Hanover, MD 21076.
