Mva On Call Facility Repairs And Renovations

Background
The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) is responsible for ensuring mobility for Maryland residents and road users, including licensing drivers and managing various vehicle services.

This Invitation for Bids (IFB) aims to procure On Call Facility Repairs and Renovations at multiple MVA facilities, including branch offices, express service locations, and VEIP stations. The contract will allow the MVA to address urgent repair needs efficiently.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, labor, and materials to perform the following services:

- Roof leak repairs (including membrane, insulation, decking, and drains)
- Facility roof replacement (partial or complete)
- Floor tile removal and replacement
- Interior facility painting and associated finishes
- Carpet removal and replacement
- Acoustic ceiling tile and gypsum board ceiling replacement
- Repair of electrical and mechanical installations
- HVAC upgrades or replacements
- Repairs from natural forces or accidents
- Foundation wall repairs
- Masonry repairs or replacements
- Window and door repairs or replacements
- On-site utility repairs or installations
- Miscellaneous facility enhancements (potentially security-related)
- Plumbing repairs or replacements (including fixtures)
- Light fixture repairs or replacements
- Access provision for inspections of facility components
- Site preservation repairs (curb/gutter/sidewalk/asphalt concrete resurfacing)
- Stormwater management features maintenance
- Inlet/drainpipe repairs/replacements
- Hazmat material testing/abatement
- Directional boring for utility installation.

Period of Performance
The contract duration is three years with an option for one additional two-year renewal. Work will be performed as needed based on task orders issued by the MVA.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at multiple MVA locations across Maryland including but not limited to Annapolis, Baltimore City, Frederick, Glen Burnie, Salisbury, Columbia, Hagerstown, Elkton, and Westminster.
