MO1595977 - MD 650 from Norbeck Road to MD 200 (ICC) Safety and Resurface

Background
The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is seeking bids for a project located in Montgomery County. The project aims to improve safety and resurface MD 650, covering a distance of 2.76 miles from just north of MD 198/Norbeck Road to MD 200 (ICC). The work includes various activities such as asphalt pavement patching, fine milling, resurfacing, replacing curb and gutter, reconstructing sidewalk ramps and bus stops to comply with ADA design standards, traffic barrier replacement, pavement markings and raised pavement markers replacement, sign removal and installation, repairs to drainage facilities, and cleaning existing drainage structures.

Work Details
The work will consist of the following: (a) Asphalt pavement patching, fine milling, and resurfacing.
(b) Replacing curb and gutter.
(c) Reconstructing sidewalk ramps, driveway entrances, and bus stops to comply with ADA design standards.
(d) Traffic barrier replacement to meet current standards.
(e) Replacement of pavement markings and raised pavement markers.
(f) Removal and installation of signs in select locations.
(g) Repairs to drainage facilities where necessary.
(h) Cleaning existing drainage structures.
