MAA Transcription Services

Background
The Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA) is seeking a vendor to provide ongoing transcription services for public meetings. This contract aims to support the Office of Procurement and Materials Management by ensuring accurate documentation of meetings held either virtually or in-person.

The MAA's mission includes facilitating aviation operations and enhancing the efficiency of procurement processes.

Work Details
The vendor will provide transcription services for public meetings, which may be held virtually or in a conference room, typically scheduled Monday through Friday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, with an approximate duration of 90 minutes per meeting. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing an experienced reporter to record and transcribe minutes verbatim.
- Arriving 15 minutes prior to scheduled meeting time for preparation.
- Delivering an electronic copy of the transcript within five business days post-meeting, with expedited options available for delivery within one or two business days.
- Ensuring transcripts are formatted on 8½” x 11” paper, using Times New Roman font, size 12, with specific margin requirements.
- Including a title page with meeting details and ensuring transcripts are free from errors such as misspellings and omissions.

Period of Performance
The contract will be ongoing for a period of five years from the date of award.

Place of Performance
Transcription services will primarily be performed at the Maryland Aviation Administration located at 7001 Aviation Blvd., Glen Burnie, MD 21061, and at Martin State Airport, 701 Wilson Point Rd., Baltimore MD 21220.
