LED Lighting Fixture Upgrade, Concord Point Park

Background
The City of Havre de Grace, through its Department of Public Works, is seeking proposals for an LED Lighting Fixture Upgrade at Concord Point Park. This initiative is part of a Maryland Smart Energy Communities/Clean Energy for Local Governments (MSEC/CELG) Grant aimed at enhancing energy efficiency by replacing existing outdoor lighting fixtures with LED lights.

The project involves the replacement of thirty-seven (37) outdoor lighting fixtures located within the park, specifically near the Concord Point Lighthouse.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all parts, supplies, materials, and labor necessary to upgrade and replace thirty-seven (37) existing outdoor lighting fixtures with LED lights. The work includes ensuring that the new fixtures meet energy efficiency standards and are installed along the highlighted walking path in Concord Point Park.

The contractor must demonstrate experience in commercial electrical work and provide evidence of qualifications for personnel assigned to the project.

Period of Performance
The work is scheduled to be completed by June 30, 2025. Proposals are due by May 8, 2025, and all work must be performed within a diligent timeframe following the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Concord Point Park located at Lafayette and Concord Streets, Havre de Grace, MD.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a Certificate of Good Standing with the State of Maryland, a completed IRS Form W-9, proof of compliance with state regulations including a business license, and evidence of insurance covering General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, and other specified liabilities with limits no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence.

Bidders must also have a minimum of five (5) years demonstrated experience in commercial electrical work.
