Background
Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) is one of the largest school districts in the United States, serving a diverse student population across urban, suburban, and rural communities.

The Board of Education of Prince George’s County is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to procure electrical materials primarily for the Department of Maintenance services, with potential requests from other departments. Work Details
The contract involves furnishing and delivering various electrical materials as specified in the IFB. Bidders are required to provide specific brand names as requested, ensuring compatibility with existing devices within the PGCPS system.

The quantities are estimates and do not bind PGCPS to order any specific amount. Bidders must provide a definitive delivery timeframe after receipt of order (ARO). The successful bidder will also be responsible for packaging, labeling, and including packing slips with each shipment. A warranty of ten years on all products is required, along with a commitment to make necessary adjustments or replacements without additional cost.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon the signing of the Notice of Award and will last for an initial term of three years, with an option for two additional one-year renewals at the established prices.

The delivery of goods will be made to various locations within Prince George’s County Public Schools.
