FY25- OCS- Custodial Services for County Buildings

Background
The Office of Procurement (OOP) on behalf of the Office of Central Services (OCS), Facilities Operation & Management Division (FOM) is seeking contractors with demonstrated professional competence and experience to perform custodial services at various County Government facilities within Prince George’s County, Maryland.

The goal of this contract is to establish multiple fixed unit rate awards for custodial services across multiple county buildings.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive custodial services, which include but are not limited to: daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitation, window washing, carpet shampooing, floor stripping and waxing, high dusting, and maintaining cleanliness in common areas.

Specific tasks include:
- Daily monitoring and cleaning of facilities to ensure they remain presentable throughout the day.
- Use of appropriate cleaning solutions for disinfecting surfaces.
- Regular maintenance tasks such as damp mopping and spot cleaning carpets.
- Ensuring that all fixtures are clean and free from stains or deposits.
- Monthly and quarterly deep cleaning tasks as outlined in the solicitation.
- Compliance with all safety and health regulations while performing duties.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is for two years starting on or about April 1, 2025, with options to extend for three additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
Custodial services will be performed at various County Government facilities located within Prince George’s County, Maryland.
