Small business invitation to bid on electrician services for three SHA facilities in Queen Anne's County: Centreville Maintenance Shop, Stevensville Satellite Facility, and the Kent Narrow Bridge Tender House. There are some renovation, repair, maintenance, and expansion projects. 120V and 240V single phase will cover most all the work. Maximum bid award $50,000 for this classification of procurement.While a master electrician shall be employed at the contractor's company, a normal work crew will consist of one (1) journeyman electrician. On complicated work assignments, MDOT SHA Centreville can approve a request for OR require a master electrician, apprentice, and/or helper. Maximum materials markup is10%.Payment terms are net 30 days after invoicing. Payment cannot be made until services are rendered. While this prohibits a deposit or upfront payment, SHA can buy direct materials for the contractor to use, so long as any excess material is left with SHA. For invoices below $5,000, SHA prefers to pay by card, if the vendor accepts card without processing fees. For invoices above $5,000 and for vendors that do not accept card, default payment method is check by mail. Direct deposit (ACH) can be setup with the comptroller's office. Please mail in or deliver your sealed bids. Do not email, fax, upload, or call in your bid.

The projects include renovation, repair, maintenance, and expansion work, primarily involving 120V and 240V single-phase electrical systems. The maximum bid award for this procurement is $50,000.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide qualified licensed electrical repairs, installation, maintenance, replacement, disposal, and remodeling services at the specified locations for a period of 36 months or until total payments reach $50,000.
The services include emergency response, design, installation, reconditioning, troubleshooting, and repair of various electrical systems within State-owned buildings.
Additionally, the contractor must comply with federal and Maryland laws regarding nondiscrimination and anti-bribery.
The work crew will consist of one journeyman electrician with the possibility of additional mechanics or helpers for complicated assignments.

Period of Performance
Bids are due by 1:30 PM local time on 3/13/24. The contract prices submitted are irrevocable for ninety (90) days following the due date.
The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with COMAR 21.05.07 – Small Procurement Regulations ($50,000 or Less).

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at Centreville Maintenance Facility – 111 Safety Drive, Centreville. MD 21617; Stevensville Satellite Shop—334 State Street, Stevensville, MD 21666; Kent Narrows Drawbridge Tender House; and other sites designated in Queen Anne’s County Maryland.
