Convert tennis courts to pickleball courts

Background
The County Council of Dorchester County, Maryland, is seeking proposals for a project aimed at repairing, resurfacing, and converting existing tennis courts into dedicated pickleball courts.
This initiative is part of the county's efforts to enhance recreational facilities and promote community engagement in sports activities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Repair 625 feet of cracks using Rite-Way material.
- Apply one coat of SportMaster sand-filled Flex resurfacer over the surface of the courts.
- Apply two coats of Flex Cone sand-filled paint over the playing surface.
- Strip one court for tennis with pickleball lines and strip four courts for dedicated pickleball with white lines.
Ensure lines are installed using line masking tape that is primed to seal edges and minimize bleed under the tape. All playing lines will be installed with textured line paint and rolled.
- Install 105 feet of 4-foot high black chain link fencing with top and bottom railing.
- Remove all materials, equipment, barrels, etc., from the site and restore the general site to an acceptable condition.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to be completed by April 10th, 2025.

The work will be performed at 200 Gay Street, Hurlock, Maryland, 21643.
