CCPS RFP #25-12 Cecilton Elementary School Boiler Replacement Project

Background
The Board of Education of Cecil County Public Schools is seeking sealed bids for the Cecilton Elementary School Boiler Replacement Project. The mission of CCPS is to serve equitably through positive relationships as a safe, collaborative community. This ensures all learners acquire the knowledge, skills, and qualities to be responsible, caring, and ethical citizens.

Work Details
The project includes the replacement of current oil-fired boilers with new gas-fired units while reusing existing piping and pumps. Specific tasks include:
- Disconnecting and reconnecting power for the boilers;
- Cutting and capping existing oil lines within the boiler room;
- Extending a new gas line from the location of the new service entrance to the boiler room.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be performed starting from the bid acceptance date until completion. Bids are due on May 7, 2025.

Cecilton Elementary School located at 251 W Main St., Cecilton, MD 21913.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a 5 percent Bid Bond, Anti-Bribery Affidavit, Certification Regarding Debarment, Non-Collusion Affidavit, and Contractor’s Qualification Statement (AIA Document A305) with their bids. A 100 percent Performance and Payment Bond payable to the Owner and certification of appropriate insurance coverage will be required from the successful Bidder.
