Airport Terminal Led Lighting Retrofit

Background
The Dorchester County Council is seeking proposals to enhance energy efficiency at the Cambridge-Dorchester Regional Airport Terminal by replacing existing CFL and Metal-Halide lighting with LED lighting.
This initiative aligns with the county's commitment to sustainability and improving operational efficiency at public facilities.

Work Details
The project involves the design, sourcing, and installation of LED lighting both internally and externally at the airport terminal.
The terminal consists of one level with 25 rooms and hallways totaling approximately 8,400 sq.ft.
The external lighting will include around 24 dusk-to-dawn fixtures in the parking lot.
Bidders are encouraged to propose occupancy-activated lighting where applicable.
Proposals must include a simple payback period calculation, a proposed lighting schedule, and all necessary design, materials, disposal, and labor for a complete installation.
The design may utilize existing fixtures and must be compatible with the current facility power architecture.
All work must be conducted while ensuring that the airport terminal remains operational during construction.

Period of Performance
All construction must be completed and approved no later than June 15, 2025.

The contract will be performed at the Cambridge-Dorchester Regional Airport Terminal located at 5263 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
