Background
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through the Executive Office of Health & Human Services Department of Developmental Services, is seeking a qualified vendor to undertake a paving project in Taunton, MA.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the accessibility and functionality of the parking area associated with the Department's facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Provide asphalt for parking.
2. Remove 2 trees and vegetation at the island and within 3 feet from the extended driveway.
3. Remove unsuitable base material and place it on the south side of the existing driveway, preparing the area for dense grade to be compacted.
4. Place and compact 2.5 inches of base mix.
5. Place and compact 1.5 inches of top mix.

The parking area dimensions are approximately 42 feet by 40 feet with a 40-foot driveway extension. All measurements must be verified by the contractor, ensuring that the parking area has a positive pitch away from the garage to prevent puddling.

Period of Performance
All work must be completed before June 30, 2025.
