RFP #24-07 Development Plan for Northfield Point at 600 Davol Street and Three Mooring Fields

Background
The Fall River Redevelopment Authority (FRRA) is seeking a design and engineering firm experienced in coastal land improvements and design of mooring fields to contract for 1) Plan improvements for an overgrown spit of land, a part of the City Pier/600 Davol St. property, to replace invasive species with native vegetation and repair a deteriorated and eroding embankment to create a new fishing and recreation area while restoring the shoreline ecology.

The addition of three new mooring fields along Fall River’s waterfront.

Work Details
The consultant's Services Proposal shall contain the following information under the indicated headings: a) Letter of Transmittal, b) Understanding of the Scope of Work, c) Approach and Methodology, d) Time of Performance, e) Work Sample, Qualifications and Resumes, f) Acknowledgement of Addenda and any MBE/WBE status, g) Legally Required Forms.

The Price Proposal must include a separate Price Proposal in the form attached hereto stating the consultant’s proposed fee for completing the work hereunder.

Period of Performance
Proposals must be received in the Purchasing Department no later than 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 18, 2024. The FRRA expects to award the contract within thirty (30) days.

Place of Performance
The geographic location(s) where the contract will be performed or where the product(s) will be delivered is Fall River's waterfront.
