Pinecrest Golf Course Improvements

Background
The Town of Holliston is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for improvements to the Pinecrest Golf Club course located at 212 Prentice Street in Holliston, MA 01746. The goal of this contract is to enhance the golf course through specific improvements, particularly focusing on cart path and drainage enhancements for holes 2 through 8 on the southern side of Prentice Street.

Work Details
Contractors are required to supply all materials and labor for the project, which includes:

- Erosion Control – Compost Sock (2,700 linear feet)
- Installation of 12” Solid Pipe Crossovers (60 linear feet)
- Removal of existing Cart Path (900 square feet)
- New Gravel Path (1,810 square feet)
- New Asphalt Cart Path (7,680 square feet)
- New Asphalt Path with Filter Fabric (9,450 square feet)
- Top existing path with asphalt after #7 Tee (1,400 square feet)
- Supply and place Topsoil (40 cubic yards)
- Cape Cod Curb/Berms & Backfilling (305 linear feet)
- Seeding (25,000 square feet).

Contractors must also provide proof of general liability and workers compensation insurance at the state-required minimum level upon award of the project.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence immediately upon execution of the contract. It must be completed in a timely manner as specified in the contract documents. The bid submission deadline is set for August 23, 2024.

The work will be performed at Pinecrest Golf Club located at 212 Prentice Street, Holliston, MA 01746.
