Background
The Town of North Attleborough is issuing an Invitation to Bid for the construction of a North Attleborough Regional Food Distribution Center. This project aims to enhance food distribution capabilities in the region and is being overseen by the Awarding Authority.

The design documents have been prepared by Gorman Richardson Lewis Architects.

Work Details
The project involves the demolition and buildout of 2,581 square feet on the ground level of an existing two-story building. Key modifications include:
- A loading dock
- Food storage and distribution areas equipped with shelving, refrigerators, and freezers
- A storage room
- Two offices
- A kitchenette
- ADA upgrades to restrooms
- Three exterior parking spaces
- An ADA ramp
- Modifications for a lift and ADA access at the front entry.

Building elements to be constructed include electrical systems, lighting, HVAC, fire sprinkler systems, fire/smoke detectors and alarms, interior walls, ceilings, and flooring.

Period of Performance
The estimated cost of the work is $2,000,000.00. Bids will be received until October 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM EDT for general bids.
