M683: 88 Black Falcon Seawall Rehabilitation

Background
The Massachusetts Port Authority (Authority) is soliciting consulting services for MPA CONTRACT NO. M683: 88 BLACK FALCON SEAWALL REHABILITATION.

The Authority aims to engage a qualified multidiscipline consulting firm or team with proven experience to provide professional services related to the planning, design, and construction of repairs for the timber pile supported deck and adjacent concrete gravity wall around the 88 Black Falcon building. The consultant must work closely with the Authority and other stakeholders to deliver these services effectively.

Work Details
The consultant shall provide professional services including but not limited to: planning, design, construction-related services, and resident inspection for repairs of the timber pile supported deck and adjacent concrete gravity wall.

The consultant must demonstrate experience in several disciplines including Waterfront Engineering (Prime), Civil Engineering, Port Operations, Structural Engineering, Transportation, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, Cost Estimating, Construction Phasing, Climate Resiliency, and Sustainable Design.

Period of Performance
The contract will be work order based with a total fee not exceeding $1,000,000.00. Specific timelines for each work order will be negotiated as needed.

Place of Performance
The performance location is around the 88 Black Falcon building managed by the Massachusetts Port Authority.

Bidder Requirements
Consultants must agree to accept Massport’s standard work order agreement and demonstrate the ability to obtain requisite insurance coverage. There are no specific set-aside certifications mentioned.
