IT Services for Newton Housing Authority

Background
The Newton Housing Authority is the largest provider of affordable housing in the City of Newton, with over fifty years of experience serving a diverse population of more than 1,300 residents.
The Authority manages over 1,030 units of federal, state, and non-subsidized affordable housing across nearly every Ward in the City.
To enhance its operations and meet increased staff needs, the Authority is seeking Information Technology Services that provide 24/7 support while implementing and managing a Microsoft 365 environment.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Network infrastructure setup or upgrades
- Implementation of software systems for property management, tenant management, and financial systems
- Data security and backup solutions
- Cloud services or hosting
- Help desk or IT support
- Implementation of new technologies such as mobile applications for tenants
- Maintenance and updates to current IT systems.
The vendor must demonstrate past performance in managing a Microsoft 365 environment, including knowledge of Azure AD, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
The Authority currently maintains approximately 35 Windows Desktop and Laptop systems for 25 users and around 10 iPads for 10 users.
The vendor will assist in recommending, purchasing, and maintaining new firewall solutions and provide ongoing remote and on-site support as needed.

Period of Performance
Services are required to commence as soon as April 15, 2025, with all deliverables to be completed by May 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Newton Housing Authority's facilities located in the City of Newton.
