Removal and disposal of building materials that were damaged by an interior leak of potable water. Some materials being removed are known to contain asbestos at Haverhill District Court located at 45 Ginty Boulevard in Haverhill, MA 01830
Background
The Massachusetts Trial Court, specifically the Office of Court Management, Facilities Management & Capital Planning, is issuing a contract for the removal and disposal of water-damaged materials at the Haverhill District Court. The goal of this contract is to address damage caused by an interior leak of potable water, which has affected various building materials, some of which are known to contain asbestos.

Work Details
The project involves the removal and disposal of the following water-damaged materials:
- Carpeting from Basement - Courtroom #3
- Carpeting from First Floor - Courtroom #2
- Vinyl Cove Base from Basement - Room #B27
- Vinyl Cove Base from Basement - Room #B28
- Sheetrock Walls from First Floor - Judge's Lobby #112
- Sheetrock Walls from First Floor - Room #114
- Sheetrock Walls from First Floor - Hall at Rooms 117 & 118.

It is noted that joint compound associated with some sheetrock walls contains asbestos. All work must be conducted outside of regular business hours (weekends or after hours during the week). Workers must pass a CORI check. The contractor may utilize facility water and electricity during the project.

Period of Performance
The planned start date is to be determined (TBD), with contract duration until final completion.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Haverhill District Court located at 45 Ginty Boulevard, Haverhill, MA 01830.
