Boiler Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Repair Services - Trial Court Region 1

Background
The Massachusetts Trial Court, Office of Court Management, Facilities Management & Capital Planning Department is seeking proposals for Boiler Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Repair Services for Region 1. The goal of this contract is to minimize the incidence of failure and extend the service life of boilers and heating systems across various Trial Court locations.

The selected contractor will provide these services on a 24-hour, 7-day per week basis as needed.

Work Details
The contractor will provide annual and semi-annual preventive maintenance services on all boilers and heating system components. This includes:
- Inspecting and cleaning the combustion chamber
- Checking for leaks
- Replacing filters
- Lubricating motors
- Ensuring all controls are operational.

Emergency repairs may be requested at any time. The contractor must also supply parts for repairs or replacements as needed, with specific parts kits listed for various locations. All work must comply with OSHA regulations and include proper disposal of waste materials.

Period of Performance
The initial period of performance is from May 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027. There are options for two renewal periods: July 1, 2027, to June 30, 2028, and July 1, 2028, to June 30, 2029.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various Trial Court locations within Region 1 of the Massachusetts Trial Court System.
