BID FOR: Sewer System Rehabilitation Phase 3

Background
The City of Brockton, Massachusetts is inviting bids for the Sewer System Rehabilitation Phase 3 Project. The project involves trenchless rehabilitation and open-cut spot repairs of existing sewers and rehabilitation of existing sewer manholes within specific sub-areas. The work also includes light and heavy cleaning of sewers, television inspection, open-cut spot repairs, chemical root control, cured-in-place (CIP) sewer pipe lining, rehabilitation of sewer manholes, restoration, bypass pumping, miscellaneous work, and cleanup.

Work Details
The work consists of trenchless rehabilitation and open-cut spot repairs of existing sewers and rehabilitation of existing sewer manholes within sub-areas 17, 19, 48, and 55. It includes light and heavy cleaning of sewers, television inspection, open-cut spot repairs, chemical root control and cured-in-place (CIP) sewer pipe lining.
Cured-in-place pipe lining will include television inspection and testing and sealing of the first two joints of each service connection. The work also includes all restoration, bypass pumping, miscellaneous work and cleanup as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein.

Period of Performance
The Contract Time shall be 250 Calendar Days commencing twenty days following the Effective Date of the Agreement.
Winter shutdown shall be enforced between Thanksgiving (November 28, 2024) and March 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in the City of Brockton, Massachusetts.
