26-01-LGL Portable Toilets for Haunted Happenings

Background
The City of Salem is seeking bids for the rental and cleaning of portable toilets for its Haunted Happenings activities scheduled for October 2025. This initiative aims to ensure adequate sanitation facilities during the city's events, which attract numerous visitors. The contract may be extended for up to two additional seasons through October 2027, depending on performance and city needs.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
- Rental of seventy-four (74) regular and fifteen (15) handicap toilets from September 18 through November 3, 2025.
- Cleaning services for these units with a total of 36 cleanings scheduled, including two cleanings on weekends.

Additional services include rental fees for extra units, cleaning fees per unit, costs for locks, moving existing toilets, and any emergency services required. All deliveries must be supervised by the Special Events Manager. The delivery schedule includes specific locations throughout Salem with detailed placement instructions.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on or around September 22, 2025, and terminate on October 31, 2025. The City reserves the right to extend the contract for up to two additional seasons in one-year increments through October 2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations throughout the City of Salem, Massachusetts, specifically designated for the Haunted Happenings events.
