25-02 Parking Ticket software and processing

Background
The City of Everett is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure ticket-writing hardware and software, along with technical support, data processing, and collection services for managing parking violations.

This initiative aligns with the city's mission to enhance its parking enforcement capabilities and streamline the processing of parking tickets. The proposals will be evaluated in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30B.

Work Details
The contract will encompass the following services and products:
- Ticket-writing hardware
- Ticket-writing software
- Technical support for the hardware and software
- Data processing services related to parking violations
- Collection services for unpaid parking tickets.

Proposers must submit a Technical Proposal detailing their approach and capabilities, as well as a Price Proposal outlining their bid price.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be one year from the date of execution, with an option for the City to extend the contract for two additional one-year terms at its sole discretion.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of the City of Everett.
