Background
The City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge is issuing a solicitation for the Supplemental Parishwide Sewer Repair and Replacement Project (City Parish Project No. 25-PN-MS-0001R).

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the rehabilitation of existing gravity sewer lines by open excavation throughout East Baton Rouge Parish.
This involves assessing the current condition of sewer lines, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
Specific tasks may include excavation, pipe replacement, installation of new materials, and restoration of disturbed areas.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed within a specified timeframe following the bid opening on May 15, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed throughout East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all provisions of the State Licensing Law for Contractors (R.S. 37:2150-2163) for public contracts.
Contractors must hold an active license issued by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors in the classification of Municipal and Public Works Construction.
Additionally, there is a minimum goal of 9% participation from certified Eligible Business Enterprises (EBEs) as part of the Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (SEDBE) program.
Bidders must submit EBE Forms 1, 1A, and 2 along with Letters of EBE Certification within 10 days after bid opening.
