Standard Lift Station Cleaning

Background
St. Tammany Parish Government is seeking proposals for Standard Lift Station Cleaning services to support the Department of Utilities. This department operates 260 lift stations and the Westwood Pit located at 176 Judge Tanner Blvd., Covington. The purpose of this RFP is to obtain qualified Proposers to provide these essential cleaning services.

Work Details
The Contractor will be responsible for cleaning approximately 10 lift stations per day, with a maximum of 15 cleaning days per quarter. Services include:

- Pressure washing the walls of each wet well, floats, rails, and piping/tubing.
- Removing waste (wash water, grease, debris) using a vacuum truck.

The contents must be transported to the Westwood Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant for disposal. Additionally, the Contractor must clean the Westwood Pit up to four times a year as needed. The proposal must include pricing for daily rates for operators/drivers and equipment used in cleaning standard-sized lift stations, as well as a per-cleaning rate for the Westwood Pit.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon Notice to Proceed and will run until December 31, 2025. There are options for two additional one-year renewals if agreed upon by both parties.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout St. Tammany Parish, specifically at the 260 lift stations and the Westwood Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 176 Judge Tanner Blvd., Covington, LA.
