Rush Bid - Pest Control - New Iberia Research Center (RENEWABLE)

Background
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is seeking pest control services for the New Iberia Research Center. The contract is renewable and will be awarded to a qualified vendor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, permits, and project oversight necessary for controlling rodents and small animals around the outside and underneath various buildings and animal holding areas at the research center.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide and service approximately 490 bait stations across the New Iberia Research Center, meet security and medical screening requirements, and conduct all on-site work under escort.
Additionally, the contractor must provide prices for services to trap and remove or exterminate large rodents, small animals, etc. from areas housing primates separate from buildings.
The contractor must comply with the schedule and commence work within 15 working days after receipt of the purchase order.
They are responsible for all call backs when pests are cited in the facilities being treated.
The servicing schedule requires monthly written reports of control efforts and proportionate servicing of rodent bait stations based on rodent activity.
The contractor is also responsible for completing owner-furnished sign-in forms and providing supervision for their field technicians.

Period of Performance
The contract will be awarded through June 30, 2025, with the option to renew for up to four additional twelve-month periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the New Iberia Research Center located on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in New Iberia, Louisiana.
