RFP for Website Re-Design

Background
The Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) is seeking competitive proposals for website design services as part of its mission to enhance its online presence.
This Request for Proposals (RFP) aims to identify a qualified contractor who can deliver a comprehensive website redesign that meets the needs of the college and its stakeholders.
The contract will be awarded to a single proposer, emphasizing the importance of quality and suitability in the selection process.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Development and setup of a robust, user-friendly Content Management System (CMS) with tiered approval levels for web management staff and college users.
2. Creation of a Dashboard for real-time monitoring of key performance metrics related to the website and mobile application.
3. Conducting Focus Groups with identified Key Audiences to gather feedback on the website and mobile application before final deliverables are released.
4. Implementation of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to improve organic visibility in search results.
5. Development of a Communications Management Plan detailing how project deliverables will be communicated and feedback incorporated.
6. Preparation of Budget Management Reports summarizing monthly billing, deliverables achieved, and anticipated future costs.
7. Transition management from the current vendor to ensure seamless handover of website management responsibilities.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of 12 months, starting on or about October 1, 2024, with the possibility of two additional 12-month extensions based on performance and mutual agreement, not exceeding a total duration of 36 months.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Baton Rouge Community College, located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
