Background
The City of Baton Rouge, Parish of East Baton Rouge is seeking sealed bids for the procurement of a Ford F550 Extended Cab 4X4 Diesel vehicle equipped with a Versalift SST-40-EIH-02 insulated articulating aerial platform lift. This procurement aligns with the city's mission to enhance public safety and operational efficiency within its departments, particularly the Baton Rouge Police Department.

Work Details
The contract involves the delivery of one (1) Ford F550 Extended Cab 4X4 Diesel vehicle with the following specifications:
- Versalift SST-40-EIH-02 Insulated Articulating, Telescopic Aerial Platform Lift
- 45 ft. working height or approved equal as per specifications.
Additionally, the successful bidder must provide two (2) complete sets of operating manuals for each different piece of equipment delivered.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be performed and completed by May 1, 2025, with delivery days specified by the vendor after receipt of order.

Place of Performance
The delivery location for the vehicle will be at the Baton Rouge Police Department, located at 9000 Airline Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70815.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid dealer's license issued under Louisiana State Statute R.S. 32:1254 and include a copy with their bid submission. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to utilize certified Small, Minority, and Women-owned businesses in their proposals and must submit a plan outlining good faith efforts to do so.
