Janitorial Services-Union Passenger Terminal

Background
The New Orleans Building Corporation (NOBC) is seeking a qualified janitorial service to maintain the Union Passenger Terminal (UPT) in a first-class manner. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the terminal is kept clean and presentable at all times, providing essential services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive janitorial services including but not limited to:

- Cleaning of interior public spaces, stairwells, bathrooms, and corridors on the 1st floor;
- Exterior perimeter of the building and park areas;
- Management offices, conference rooms, and restrooms;
- Periodic cleaning of vacant areas;
- Specific tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, waste collection, and maintaining various surfaces (terrazzo, tile, stainless steel, granite/marble).

Regular schedules for cleaning tasks are specified to ensure adequate maintenance. The contractor must also handle trash disposal and maintain cleanliness in public seating areas and restrooms with detailed procedures outlined for each area.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed continuously over a period of one year with options for renewal as provided in the contract under Attachment B.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Union Passenger Terminal located at 1001 Loyola Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70113.
