ITB - Emergency - RR264 - Treme-Lafitte Group D

Background
The City of New Orleans, through its Department of Public Works, is issuing this formal Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Emergency RR264 - Treme-Lafitte Group D project. The purpose of this contract is to address urgent public works and capital projects that align with the city's mission to maintain and improve infrastructure in response to emergencies.

Work Details
The contract involves public works related to the Treme-Lafitte area, specifically under the Emergency RR264 designation. The scope includes construction services necessary for the completion of this project as detailed in the Project Manual and/or Specifications. Bidders are encouraged to review all specifications thoroughly, including any references to brands or manufacturers which indicate general style, type, character, and quality desired. Equivalent products are acceptable.

The contractor will also be required to comply with various local regulations including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goals set at 35%. Additional requirements include adherence to the Hire NOLA program and Section 3 compliance for contractors.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and will continue for a duration specified in the Project Manual or Specifications, with options for renewal as provided therein.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in the Treme-Lafitte area of New Orleans, Louisiana.
