Exterior Cleaning & Pressure Washing

Background
Louisiana Delta Community College (LDCC) is seeking bids for exterior cleaning and pressure washing services for its campus located at 7500 Millhaven Road, Monroe, LA. The goal of this contract is to maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the college's facilities by addressing issues such as biological growth, pollutants, and general dirt accumulation on various surfaces.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and supervision necessary for the completion of exterior cleaning and pressure washing. Specific areas to be cleaned include:
- Walkways
- Sidewalks
- Concrete Parking Lots
- Curbs
- Roof on the LPB Building
- Masonry Walls

The contractor must address staining due to biological growth (including algae, fungi, lichens), pollutants, and high traffic dirt. The cleaning process involves applying a primer mixture (12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite with water) at low pressure (not exceeding 50 PSI) followed by rinsing with water at a maximum of 3000 PSI. All work must comply with mandatory college and state regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe agreed upon in the bid submission. Bids are due by May 15, 2025.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at Louisiana Delta Community College's Monroe Campus located at 7500 Millhaven Road, Monroe, LA.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed to operate in Louisiana and have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in exterior cleaning and pressure washing. They are required to submit a References Form with their bid. Additionally, contractors must provide proof of insurance covering general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and any other necessary coverages as specified in the solicitation.
