Contract for Chemicals for Pool at NSU Recreation Complex

Background
Northwestern State University (NSU) is seeking bids for a contract to supply chemicals for the swimming pool at the NSU Recreation Complex. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the pool is maintained with the necessary chemicals to support its operation and safety.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following chemicals for the swimming pool:

- 5000 lbs of Pulsar Plus Hypo Chlorine Pellets (Granular Form 68-75% chlorine)
- 120 lbs of Stabilizer (granular form, Cynuric Acid)
- 500 lbs of Pulsar Shock (Granular form, 68-75% chlorine)
- 500 lbs of Calcium Chloride Flakes (bucket, per 50lbs)

The quantities listed are estimated usage for a one-year period and may change during the contract. Chemicals are to be delivered on an 'as-needed' basis throughout the contract period. The bid will be awarded on an all-or-none basis, and NSU reserves the right to delete line items as necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. It may be renewed for two additional twelve-month periods at the same terms and conditions, not to exceed a total of thirty-six months.

Place of Performance
The chemicals will be delivered to Northwestern State University Recreation Complex located in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all requirements specified in the Invitation to Bid (ITB), including providing a valid IRS Form W-9 with their taxpayer identification number. Bids must be submitted in hard copy by the specified deadline and must include original signatures from authorized representatives. Bidders should also acknowledge receipt of any addenda related to this solicitation.
