Building Materials - DOC-DWCC

Background
The Office of State Procurement of the State of Louisiana is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of building materials for the Department of Corrections, specifically for the David Wade Correctional Center. The goal of this contract is to supply various construction materials necessary for maintenance and operations within the facility.

Work Details
The contract includes the provision of various building materials as detailed below:

1. 400 units of SPF - Stud (2" x 4" x 116-5/8") made from Spruce, Pine, and Fir.
2. 25 units of Treated Yellow Pine (2" x 4" x 16') Number 1 Grade Ground Contact.
3. 140 units of SPF (2" x 4" x 16').
4. 200 units of Southern Yellow Pine (SYP) (1" x 4" x 14') Number 2 Ground Contact Lumber.
5. 20 units of SYP (2" x 6" x 12') Number 1 Ground Contact Lumber.
6. 2 units of House Wrap (9' x 150', thickness: 5 millimeters).
7. 2 units of Plastic Cap Nails (7/8", package size: 2000 nails per box).
8. Additional items including various grades and dimensions of plywood, insulation, cement siding panels, fire-rated commercial doors, and interior doors as specified in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The contract is set to begin upon award and will continue until all materials are delivered and accepted by the state, with a specific opening date for bids on January 23, 2025.
