Asphalt Overlay - DOC

Background
This solicitation is for the Pouring of an Asphalt Overlay for the Louisiana Department of Corrections (DOC) located at Dixon Correctional Institute, 5568 Highway 68, Jackson, La 70748. The job is to be performed in accordance with the enclosed scope of work and specifications.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to pour a 2" compressed asphalt overlay of a parking area and the front road to the parking area as per Attachment C - Specifications.
A jobsite visit is required prior to bid opening. Any vendor intending to submit a bid must have at least one duly authorized representative attend a mandatory jobsite visit. Please contact Maintenance Manager William Bunch at 225-634-6101 to set up a time to visit the jobsite.
A completed Attachment B - Jobsite Verification Form or a signed letter from the agency representative stating that vendor has visited the jobsite should be included in bidder’s submission. Failure to comply with this request shall eliminate your bid from consideration.
