Armed Security Guard Services - LDH

Background
The Office of State Procurement of the State of Louisiana is issuing a solicitation for Armed Security Guard Services to support the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH). The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of personnel and property at designated locations in New Orleans, LA. The services are intended to provide a secure environment during operational hours.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Armed Security Guard Services from Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This includes:
- Three security guards on-site during operational hours:
- Guard 1: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Guard 2: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Guard 3: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Each guard will have two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break during their shifts.
- The total service will involve approximately 40 hours per week, excluding state holidays.

Period of Performance
The contract is scheduled to begin on May 6, 2025, and will continue for a duration specified in the awarded contract terms.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Louisiana Department of Health located at 1450 Poydras Street, New Orleans, LA 70811.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in the LaGov system to submit an online bid. Additionally, they must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. A W-9 form must be provided if newly registered. There are no specific set-aside certifications mentioned in this solicitation.
