RFB-233-25 KCTCS - Chiller Replacement Regional Postsecondar

Background
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of a chiller at the Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) Main Campus. The goal of this contract is to enhance the HVAC system's efficiency and reliability at the RPC Phase 1 Building, which supports the mission of providing quality education and facilities to students.

Work Details
The project involves the following key tasks:
- Removal of a 200-ton chiller
- Installation of a new 300-ton chiller
- Replacement of chilled water pumps
- Addition of variable frequency drives (VFDs) for pumps
- Installation of capped valves for future connection to the Occupational Technology Building (OTB) 100.

The work will encompass various trades including demolition, HVAC piping, HVAC insulation, electrical work, temperature controls, and integration with the building automation system.
